Nonprofit Day Conference 2011

Leaders attend trainings throughout the year

Lake Effect Leaders are placed at universities and nonprofits in Erie and Crawford Counties. Members who serve with us are given the unique opportunity to serve within a small cohort of Leaders at nearby organizations.  Leaders are provided with professional development and training opportunities that allow them to create a greater impact at their host sites.

Lake Effect Leaders are generally required to manage several roles at their organizations.  This provides Leaders with the opportunity to work across the organization and learn how their individual strengths and interests align with the various functions of a nonprofit organization.  Leaders have the ability to take lead roles within their host sites that would not be possible in other entry-level positions.
